Can You Dig It?

As a parent of a 2 year old, I spend a lot of time putting things in bins.

Buses go in this bin; soft, plush toys in that.

That’s not ma-ma. Bernie Sanders is not da-da. Da-da is not Hillary; da-da is a white male. Sorry. Lo-la probably did do something to the floorboards but I can’t make out what you make it out to be.

…Not to the point of impeding my son’s development, naturally, but, we define by exclusion. We both say no; new limits are created.

A little yes, and a big no.

Then there’s this:

The bag breaks. Everything falls to the floor.

“Bulldozer.”

Knowledge makes the gaps, the lacunae; can’t say it doesn’t encourage a good stumble and fall-in now and again. Actually quite a quality OOPS.

Can you yourself dig it so much?
